This listing is for the "Tin Whistle Tutorial" Book 1 and accompanying CD by Elfsong Music. This is a graded book meant for the D whistle - it is excellent for beginners and those who want to learn more about the whistle, theory, and the history behind many whistle tunes. It includes exercises, scales, technique, and fun pieces. Each piece throughout the book has fingering diagrams for every note.  We recommend this as one of the best tutorial books for whistle!  The CD is fun to play along with and some songs include more than one speed so students can play along at a comfortable speed.





We are pleased to offer Elfsong's solid, beautiful whistles as well. They sound great and are fun to play;  they have a bigger bore than your average whistle, are very sturdy, and have good volume. The fingertubes are made of copper and are powder coated providing beauty and protection.

The Jasper D is a dark green, Jasper C is deep red, and the Enchanter in D is black; it has the same fingering as the GHB Bagpipes and has a hole in the back.
