This listing is for a brand new black Maui Xaphoon (pronounced “za foon”) or Pocket Sax in the key of C, a Deluxe leather bag, Reed Saver, Spare Reed, and free shipping.   The Xaphoon is unlike any other instrument and sounds like a cross between a saxophone and a clarinet.  It has a much richer sound than you would expect for its size.  Xaphoon's were made to be played wherever and whenever the mood strikes,  they are just plain fun!  Experienced players find the Xaphoon capable of all kinds of subtle nuances and yet still has the vibrant power of a saxophone.  Beginners find it fun and easy, and good practice for other reed instruments.  The Xaphoon is only 12 3/4 inches long and about two octaves lower than conventional flutes of the same length but sounds like a full-sized saxophone.  Uses a tenor Saxophone reed (included).  Xaphoon's are portable and sturdy, ideal for trips and adventures where you wouldn't want to bring your other woodwinds.   We are also including one of our Deluxe leather bags that are custom made to fit the Maui Xaphoon; it has a velcro closure, reed saver pocket, and belt loop on the back.   We have Black, Blue, Dark Brown, Rust, Brown, Red or Tan available
