This is a super little harp for beginners, Therapy work, or travel - this harp fits in the overhead compartment of most airplanes. The Harpsicle Harp is well designed, sturdy, has excellent string spacing and action, great volume, and holds its tune very well. It is recommended by many Harp Therapy programs. The Harpsicle™ Harp can be played in the key of C and A minor or tuned to any other scale. All of our Harpsicle™ music sets are in the Key of C and A minor. Also, there is a lifetime of music already published in these keys. Like the Renaissance harp, the Harpsicle™ Harp has no Bridge pins so levers cannot be added. NEW! Acoustic/Electric option: You can now have an internal electric pickup installed so that your Harpsicle™ can be played directly through an amplifier.
The Harpsicle TM Lap Harp has 26 nylon color-coded strings and a 3 1/2 octave range. Strings begin at C below Middle C to G three octaves above Middle C. All the C strings are colored Red and all the F strings are Blue which makes it easier to figure out where you are in the scale. It stands at 33 inches tall, 19 inches deep, 5.5 inches wide, and weighs 4 pounds. Each HarpsicleTM is numbered and has a 1 Year warranty.
These Harps are a division of Wm Rees Instruments at "Harps on Main" and are fully designed and built in Indiana. These harps are reasonably priced and provide great value for your money!
The "Happy Harpsicle" comes in many "flavors" (colors) We usually have black (licorice) or natural (maple) available. Please contact us about acquiring a different flavor. Due to the high demand for Harpsicle™ Harps, all orders placed on these harps may take up to 4-5 weeks to be built.

Harpsicle™ Harp
The Harpsicle™ Harp can be played in the key of C and A minor or tuned to any other scale. All of our Harpsicle™ music sets are in the Key of C and A minor. There is a lot of music written in the key of C. Like the Renaissance harp, the Harpsicle™ Harp has no Bridge pins so levers cannot be added. Sharpsicle™ Harp
Sharpsicle™ Harps are identical to Harpsicle™ Harps with the addition of bridge pins on all strings and modified Robinson sharping levers on the C and F strings. This allows the harp to play in 6 different keys (C,G,D major and A,E,B minor) without retuning. Available in all of the 'flavors' shown above.

Flatsicle™ Harp
Flatsicle™ Harps are identical to Sharpsicle™ Harps including the addition of bridge pins on all strings but with modified Robinson sharping levers on the C, F and B strings. This allows the harp to play in 8 different keys (C,G,D,F major and A,E,B,D minor) without retuning. Available in all of the 'flavors'.
